plug ins page of the Slim devices website.
In particular I installed the
Mplayer-mingw32-1.opre7.zip file when installing Mplayer.
Alien BBC shows up on the squeezebox menu under internet radio,
together with all the sub

mplayer and codec but not having them at the folder level wanted by
slim server.

I did a 5.0 update on top of my clean re-install of 6.2b and 4.9 and
it works!

I have all wma files that are converted to mp3 files (via Lame) when
streamed and I get a pop/click in between each song also. My
slimserver runs on linux, so the only way to play the wma files is to
have them converted to ffmpeg first and have the output piped to lame
so that the stream is

Ah, you are right. The CH+ and CH- minus are brightness up and down,
but won't trigger a firmware update.

This sounds reasonable to me, but I don't think your FLAC files will
contain any metadata after this procedure. Slimserver may still
correctly infer artist, album, track number,
