FYI I bought two SB3s from Ebuyer, which although showed Slim Devices
logos on the site, actually had Logitech logos on them when I received
them.
But I had to RMA one of them as the remote did not work, and they then
ran out of stock, so just refunded me.
I then bought a replacement (and an

Yes, this is now happening on our SB3 system and seems to have been
introduced after installing 6.5.3.
Can someone tell me how to revert to an earlier firmware but keep
6.5.3?
I've searched but can't seem to find anything.

On my SB3 itself, if I do the following:
Browe Albums Album Title Play track 5 out of 12
Track 5 will start playing and then after it's finished songs 6--12
will play, perfect.
However, when doing the same via the slimserver web interface after
track 5 is finished, it just goes back and
What gives?
An inconsistence in the two interfaces. The option won't influence the web
interface.

I see, well perhaps it would be a good idea to have the web interface
mimic the default behavior of the player given 'play other songs in
album' is the default selected option.,

Hi,
I had a quick look at plugins but could not see anything, is there a
way to use a random/shuffle type play but of a specific artist only?
Is the only way to do it to create a playlist with the artist and then
shuffle it?
Cheers,

Don't really need plugin for this - search or browse artists select
play all
If you Browse to your chosen artist, select Play all songs by artist
with play mode set to Shuffle, it should do the job...

Ah - thanks . That explains it. Still, if there were a way of sharpening
up the 'what's playing' text just a tad it would sit quite nicely in the
sidebar as well.
Thanks for your work on this.

If you provide more details people may be able to try to reproduce the
problem. I found some small bugs (bug #5094 5103) in relation to
Pause near the end of track but they have been fixed in 6.5.3.
Information that would be useful:
- Slimserver version and build if a nightly build.
- format

I've a question about having both MP3 and FLAC files of each track
