The player is the older squeezebox slim server downstairs.
It has in "now playing" the song that the computer says it is playing.
no sound comes out after one song. The first song plays and then
nothing. Run upstairs to computer and song plays along.

Called the support here in Sweden. They will not repair any units, but
will replace them if there is still a guarantee. The guarantee does not
cover the case when a unit is struck by lightning and my unit does not
have any guarantee any longer.
So, I guess that I am stuck here.

Unlikely it's that. I don't like to install beta versions. Sometimes
that can just add to the problems. There must be something in a config
file somewhere that is pointing to an incorrect KFI stream. Something
got jacked up for this particular stream and it's probably an easy fix.

Check out Erland's plugins--custom skip in particular. I think it works
with the "Zapped" playlist that SC creates. With his other plugins you
can do even more elaborate stuff, like exclude based on ratings or
recently played.

My Squeezebox IR remote has just given up on me. I've been able to
program some other universal remote to work with the player when it's
connected to Squeezecenter (using the infrared code for the JVC DVD

on my Duet or Boom. When I access it, it will display the show title
then after about 20 seconds, it chokes and says HTTP/ 1.0 404 Not Found.

SB3 do fine in my house with wireless, but the SBR is much more finicky.

Hi all,
All my SBs beside a boom box are connected via ehternet cables. The
boom box is connected wirelessly to either an Asus router with dd-wrt
firmware (details below) or an additional access point (details
below)(same SSID, same WPA key).
Because of the additional access point, I want to set

And for the record I can play the stream.mp3 stream just fine from
Winamp. Hoping an update fixes things.
