Thank you *so* much!
I'm running 7.4.1. I didn't even know of the existence of nightly beta
builds... thank you!!! I looked at the changelog for 7.4.2, and I don't
see anything related to fixing itunes artwork import, but I'll install
it nevertheless. Bug fixes are good... :)

I was surprised to see both an all-black SB Classic and a Boom in a
local Curry's last Sunday. Sad to see they were both a bit dusty, and
located at one end of a DAB Radio section.
If I hadn't already known what they were I would not have given them a
second glance.

Just to keep you informed : bad news!
So the support told me yesterday that the issue is probably related to
a loose connection of the wireless card inside th SB3 (as some others
have already experienced). As my SB3 is out of warranty, they advice me
to contact the dealer to unplug and reconnect
Hi all,
I've just upgraded my SB server from 7.3.4 to 7.4.2.
Using the "Internet Radio" menu, I found and played the ClassicFM radio
stream. Now this should be a 128k stream (I even purposely picked the
stream that is supposed to be 128k). However when it plays I actually
get 48k (which is th

Hi all.
I would recomend a Duet or Classic, because of the Controller with it's
display. So you havn't go to the receiver / Touch / to pla

I'm using a Linksys WRT54G (running the DD-WRT firmware) as a wireless
access point for my blue-ray and tv to connect to the main router. I'm
considering also hooking up my SB3 to it and run the SB3 as ethernet
attached, letting the WRT54G handle the wireless. Would the WRT54G have
better wireless

Hi guys!
I have an incredibly good setup, but I am considering getting
everything digitalized and playing it via squeezebox. I have and old PC
laying around and I am thinking of getting an intel Atom 330 CPU
soldered on a motherboard with built-in graphics, along with a 1 TB disc
to play my music
What version of SBS are you running?
Try the latest beta 7.4.2 if your not on that one. Looks like it's
trying to import iTunes album art.
You could disable that feature to get it to finish the scan.

just for clarity- Boxee is based on the XMBC model. I believe the Boxee
folks used it as a starting point for their project. Also it's menus are
customizable and Boxee also integrates well with the iphone/itouch for
remote control purposes.
I now sound like a Boxee salesperson but I can't say eno
Yes Dave,
Tried that, along with holding down "1" button after plugging it back

Another random suggestion..have you tried holding down the IR remote
power button for a few seconds. My SB3 wouldn't turn on and this did the
trick.

Works ok for me using the Internet Radio and Search options - but you
may need to set up a Radiotime account first.
Does this URL work for you at all?

Thanks for the suggestion bossy, but it cannot be the PSU:
1) Power is definitely getting to the SB3 as the optical out glows red
when I plug the unit in.
2) I am using the same PSU to power the old SB1 I have hooked up as a
temporary player until I get the SB3 back into commission.

PS
I 'upgraded' from squeezecenter to squeezeboxserver last night and, as
expected, the presets on my wife's Boom got wiped. These were mainly
BBC radio stations and were easy to get back once I got the iplayer
plugin installed again.
The only one I haven't got back was Planet Rock. I had previous
The PC World website now only lists the Squeezebox Radio and it's only
