Well, I believe in any case LMS is not too bad.
Sonos, for example, maxes out at 65.000 tracks, 1/8th of that library.
DLNA servers like Twonky can easily handle more but they provide almost
no intelligence so the software using the library has to do a lot more
processing and now how many

Good question. Do some of the large library users do have experience on
using DNLA devices with their library?

My duet is no longer able to resolve IP addresses when trying to connect

As the device already has 802.11 and Ethernet, adding support for LMS
must surely be a simple matter of firmware.
Which should be cheap enough for us to expect them to actually do so.

'Bug 17797: Updating wiki.slimdevices.com'
Hi all,
Thanks all for your reply.
At the end I see no real solution.
I would like to have parental control especially to avoids kids to play
with settings.
I've tried the approach you proposed (you break it you fix it), but at
the end I've to solve the issue, and after ten time I'm tired. ;-)
Just my two cents worth...
If you've tried you break it you fix it ten times already and they
still don't get the message then it seems to me that they are not yet
capable of dealing with something like an SB Radio (or they have a
peculiar sense of fun). Try replacing it with a standard AM/FM
Hi Andrew, thank you for the great extension to SB - just donated.
I recently starting having a problem with UPnP. My control points see
WhiteBear and can control players BUT there is no feedback from
Whitebear. Using the Intel Dev Tools, I can invoke actions and get
response but LastChange
Small question.
I use Inguz Audio's plugin with LMS. Is it possible with Whitebear to
stream the processed signal by Inguz Audio plugin to UPNP streaming
clients?

I'm thinking of rolling back my server software to a SB3-era version.
I'm looking for the version just BEFORE album art support was added.
Are these old versions still around somewhere?
