If it's confirmed the iPad 3 will double the h*w pixel count, what use
could be made of the extra resolution?

The size of the screen won't differ so I doubt you could get extra on
the screen , just everything will be sharper. That is if the graphics
scale correctly. My question is how much effort is it to make an app
make use of the larger pixel count. I guess this is the same as scaling
iPhone3 graphics
Depends on how you did your graphics. If they are bitmaps, you have to
create a second one for each and every graphic you use.
And yes, it's the same change as from iPhone 3 to 4.

Hey guys -- I can't seem to get my PS3 to find the LMS program. PS3
works fine with Tversity and other servers but no LMS. Yes, they are
all up to date. Note that my PS3 is the original fat one -- maybe
that is the problem??

Home Theatre:
My system consists of a smartQ tablet running ubuntu 9.04 and LMS 7.7.2.
The music library is located on a Verbatim 16 GB usb plugged into my
Huawei router Home Gateway.
It all works pretty well - a slight initial hesitation in accessing
streams, but that's acceptable. Once an album is playing,
I'd be grateful if somebody could remind me how to update the Debian
install of 7.7.2.
I recall that it involved an uninstall (via dpkg) and possibly a purge
- can't remember what I did previously!
Any hints?

When I browse my songs ipeng always seems to bring through duplicates of
each song. This confused me no end thinking I had duplicate songs in my
folders but I checked and I don't.
I've since checked the more info section of ipeng and it seems it's
picking up from both my FLAC folder and my MP3
I have a lot of digital music and am on a lifelong quest to perfect my
tagging (e.g. changing Artist/Album Artist from UB 40 or ub40 to
the correct UB40).
Just to make sure I'm *not* crazy, I wanted to verify that when I
rescan with Find new and changed music it won't update database
entries
I'm not sure I understand the question but Find new and changed music
will basically work as follows:
1. It detect all files that have a file modification timestamp that's
later than the previously scanned version of the file, this means that
it will detect:
- New files which doesn't exist in
