Thanks for the replies. Now I just need to decide exactly which devices I want wired. I have never had any problems with the squeezebox wireless connections using a Dlink DWL-2000AP+ Which I now try and keep exclusive for Squeezebox devices.

If those are outdoor rated cat5e cables that is a reasonable price at $87. As long as all of your routers/WiFi's/repeaters are all setup to be on the same network then you can certainly utilize the Touch's inbuilt server (or LMS server) residing on that same network.

Sue is rigth . Smart playlist is dearly missing as core feature . I use the dead and buggy MIP in conjunction with sugercube it works sort off after a great deal of fuzzing around with stuff that would turn away 99.98% off end users, an official MIP replacement is needed. And it should be a

Hello I switched from Slimserver to Media Server. Media Server will start, but shuts down after approximately 30 seconds! I have been able to see Possible software conflict found under alerts. I never had a problem with Slimserver. Can any one help me resolve this I am running XP Home on a Intel
