i was not sure, which term to use for usb dac, as it is not doing any
digital analog converting when used with spdif output ;). So I went with
he external sound card. thanks

Popped in Centrino 6235 and it's working in AP mode. However, it's still
not connecting to my router (It's a BT Homehub - a common ISP provided
unit in the UK).
The router is a B/G/N device , currently running on channel 11 and using
WPA WPA2 encryption and a visible SSID (standard settings).

A DAC can have S/PDIF input (coax or optical) or USB, or both inputs. It
is still a DAC, converting the
Most USB capable DAC use of of two USB audio interfaces - XMOS or Tenor.
Unfortunately Tenor based DACs are not very stable with current EDO
kernel. Unfortunately not all DAC manufacturers tell which USB interface
then use.

AAC streams for BBC Radio 3 are comeback for me too not only in TuneIn
but also in iTunes for PC and with this url in squeezebox :
