Use LMS logitech media server . And there is a WAV-in plugin for sources
other than files that LMS has scanned .
And with the latest LMS 7.9 you can use to browse folder without scan
and play the files .
But forget about using for movies or video games , the buffering
involved means just to much

You can take the complete log files and zip them and post here ( or add
the txt files if they are small enough ) , just
BTW, I've tried to submit the server log but for some reason it needs to
be approved (because it has urls?) Anyway, hopefully that will appear
here soon.

The last scan was for new music but I've done complete scans multiple
times in the last couple of days trying to sort this out. Here's the
last log:

Did the scan complete? Was it a full one?

Think some people might of got the wrong end of the stick here - do you
mean you want to play ANY audio that's on your laptop to one of your
Squeezebox devices ?
If so then do you have a working LMS on your network ? Assuming you do
then you need to run it with upnp switched on then your squeeze
If you have LMS on the laptop, you should be able to do this with the

I want to play audio from my laptop through my hifi wirelessly.
I already own two Squeezebox Classics and a Boom. Is it possible to set
these up as simple wireless DACs so that any audio which would normally
be heard from my laptop speakers is played through the hifi?
Many thanks!

I had over 15K titles ripped on WMA lossless. When I moved my LMS from
Windows to the ReadyNAS 104 (OS 6 / ARM), I converted to FLAC and
upsampled to 96kHz. At the time, I wasn't aware that due to real time
conversion back to 44.1K to serving music to my 5 slim devices, 96kHz
would cause problems.
