You need LMS to play HLS streams. HLS is not supported by the Radio or
any SB player. LMS handles the HLS streaming and sends a transcoded
stream to the player.
So here it is the latest update. Thanks to bpa's hint, I realized the
radio was not directly connected to the computer, but was connected to
mysqueezebox server. When I changed the library to my computer, I was
able to reinstall all the plugins and to succeed in playing Radio Deejay
with iPlayer.
To be fair for iPeng it's not that much of an issue since the CLI over
cometd allows for pipelining anyway (on the protocol level and even with
out of order replies). And for streaming latency is not a big issue
since the music gets cached anyway.

Thinking about this (which I previously thought I would like to see as
well) I now think that due to the storage problems on iThingy's
generally a better solution for those of us that go mobile with
insufficient bandwidth to connect to home would actually be a pocket LMS
server with wifi that the

And you'll need a Player. As long as your Squeezebox ain't there, you
could try a software player like SqueezePlay on your computer.

I hAVE 2 BROWSERS. 1.GOOGLE CHROME-DEFAULT BROWSER. and Opera. Though i
