With a little bit of hesitation I upgraded to the latest nightly again,
and it*seems to be running without problems now (knock on wood).

Why use softsqueeze it is not actively supported. Squeezelite and

Just tried to reinstall LMS on Windows 10 (1607) and Ubuntu 16.10, both
instances generate "Invalid mysqueezebox.com username or password". I am
able to logon to the mysqueezebox.com website without problems and
switch squeezebox players from the website to mysqueezebox.com.
