It appears that the VortexBox brand is gone and Andrew has replaced it
with the Sonic Transporter brand on his Small Green Computer site. I
emailed him a few days ago about the forum and he indicated that he is
working to get the VB forum back up. No mention of a time line.

I recently started using Roon and agree that it is THE next gen LMS.
They have a free trial period. Highly recommended.
TBH quite honest, I was wondering, too... I recently looked in to our
implementation of Slacker Radio, and it made me shudder... It's one of
the first I did, and their feature set has grown considerably. It
started out as a pure custom radio, MOD features got tacked on, but the
API is awful,
Seriously, even if Logitech completely pulls the plug I don't see LMS
going away for a long, long time.
Don't forget that Logitech is still providing a whole lot of
infrastructure which would need to be replaced by the community: build
systems, download servers, this forum etc. That could

I absolutely love the Vortexbox and really appreciate the help and
patience Ron and Andrew have shown me over the years. Forum support
also has been a Godsend. I hope it continues and that Small Green
Computers continues to produce some form of Vortexbox Appliance. The

I would have advised NTFS anyway even though it requires the extra
filesystems. Seems to work
