The menu handling for the old ip3k menus and the newer SqueezePlay main
menu in LMS is completely separate.
Spotify is enabled in MySqueezebox.com for your Transporter, right (it's
a per-player setting).
Did you try to restart the server?
Anything suspicious in server.log?

Yeah i have the plugin installed.
The spotify menu is missing on ipeng for transporter but it is on the
transporter itself so that is why it is strange to me.
I have version 7.9.1 - 1489384180 installed.

there is no choice of "Playlists" to add to the Home Menu Customization
from Inactive Menu Items. I think this has been missing for a long
while. The Inactive Menu Items selections go from Pandora to Podcasts -
no "Playlists"
