Is http://wiki.slimdevices.com/ in good health? I get the following

Logitech 650 works and can be programmed for the Squeezebox
This is a bit pricey for used but

I have both an SB3 and a transporter. The SB3 remote stopped working a
while ago. That was no problem as the one for the Transporter and other
devices worked fine. Recently the Transporter remote stopped working as
well. At the moment it is not a problem but it occurred to me what
would I do
Thank you very much Epoch1970.
The volume management in the airplay add in did the trick.
Not synching volume does not work because one of the players in another
room would be too loud at night. So yes, I could go to the other room
every night and turn it down, but I would rather not have to
There was some discussion in the Squeezebox Radio forum about
determining the stream URL for iheartradio stations. Using the approach
described in the thread "404 file not found", I was able to derive a URL
for KFI-AM. It works as a preset on my SB Radio. No idea how long it
will stay valid, but
Let's not overreact It's just a hard to execute proof of concept
crack of a security protocol which will likely be fixed on most things
you care about before there are exploits in the wild. Keep your knickers
untwisted.

I agree which is why my Networks are as completely secure as possible.
I'm not sure I understand why not synching volume on the players does
not work for you.
Anyways, there are volume management options in Airplay Bridge (see
Preferences>Advanced>Airplay Bridge), where you can tweak how the bridge
maps the SB player volume scale to the Airplay volume scale. Maybe
Sometime within the past 2 weeks I stopped being able to access KFI from
my SqueezeBox. I've been using the same URLs (one from JimInPT with
Alpine's mods, another an akamai URL) for the past six years. Poof
they're gone. I suspect that iHeart finally got around to closing this
last door.

No. The logic was that if an update was made to close the hole in LMS
then those with updates enabled would get it.
However, the world is not that simple.

Hi guys,
@Hydro: First of all, congrats on what sounds like a great setup! :)
On your intended expansion; waterproof components are not really that
common for Raspberry Pi. Most cases are rather open. However, if you are
able to place the Pi out of harm's way, the new AMP2 by HiFiBerry could
