Did you try a full wipe & rescan?
And please check your drive's state: is there enough free disk space on
C:? Is the filesystem ok?

On like the 10th try, the scanner stalled at about the same place but I
left it scanning because I wasn't watching it closely.
Inexplicably, the scanner started moving again and completed scanning my
nearly 450k files.
However, it now stalls and aborts early in the artwork pre-caching
stage.
A new build 'SqueezePlay-setup-8.0.1r1420.exe'
(https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsclients/files/squeezeplay/windows/)
for windows is available.
Fixes the premature ending of tracks.
Connects via discovery to a user supplied remote library/server defined
using the choose music source applet.
Just wondering if there is an option to set limit to max volume when
using squeezeAmp Bluetooth sink or at least set default volume after
connecting to Bluetooth devices.
My partner prefers to use native tidal application instead of LMS so
Bluetooth is great option for her. However win 11
