Still have one free Duet setup available. Any takers? Would hate to
throw it in the trash. :-(
It needs a new handset battery, but those are cheap and easy to find. I
will include the original just for reference.

We've gone whole-hog into Google Assistant automation and now have a
Home unit of some sort in just about every room. We hadn't used the
Logitech for music in almost a year, so it's time to get it all in the

Apologies, yes...in Cincinnati, Ohio...the heart of the former occupied
lands of the native Americans and former French territory until the
thankless rebels evicted the King's men and set upon a path
We have decommissioned our Logitech Squeezebox hardware and are looking
for a home for it all. We have the following units in good working
order:
One (1) Squeezebox Boom with remote and power brick (no box)
Two (2) Squeezebox Duets (one new-ish in box; one loose, but with all
important bits)
and restart the
Mini and see if that helps at all.

*really* looking forward to being able to use it as a stand-alone
client with the headphone jack (I'll actually look forward to mowing
the yard!).

I just went through this exact same migration.
MP3Tag (free at MP3Tag.com) can do this for all your albums at once.
It takes a couple minutes of configging the app's user-customizable
functions, but it's fairly straightforward.
If you get stumped, post and I'll try to help.

I have some Klipsch ProMedia 2.0 speakers and they sound quite good for
under $100.

by half a gig or so if I don't have to.
Putting cover.jpg in the directory of each album seems to be working
fine.
But thanks again for the suggestion.

that it
requires the latest 7.0.1 nightly version of SqueezeCenter. Also that
only the wallpaper part of the additional setting screen works [it will
be 7.1 before you can customise the sound effects on the controller].
Thanks...will try it out.

, of albums, but for a few, it's fine (as long
as you don't mind waiting on the SBC to update itself).
If anyone with a better (i.e., more thorough/technical) understanding
of how the Squeezebox system works can correct (or explain) this,
please let us know. Thanks.

Do any of these scripts work on a Mac?

I appreciate the pointers.
I still think we need a better system for album art on the Squeezebox,
but that's certainly not a new insight. ;-)

in advance. If we can get these two bits solved, I can
honestly say we'll be 100% satisfied with our Duet. :-)
