I unplugged my apple tv, waited for it's absence to be noticed by the system, and Squeezeplay now plays audio out through the speakers/headphone port. I plugged my apple tv back in, picked apple tv as the audio output device in system preferences, re-launched squeezeplay, and presto,

Hi, I just installed mountain lion on my mac mini and noticed that squeezeslave was streaming the audio to a different output than before the upgrade. Editing the plist file fixed the issue. Just wanted to get this into the thread in case someone else has a similar problem.
