What about native AAC (maybe even AAC+) streaming? It's currently pretty
cumbersome to get AAC running on ARM machines and even that is not
really fast.

I wget'ed the sources from a debian server, it is compiling, I defined
FIXED_POINT manually and configured it with --without-fp and --npf...
I'll report if it works.

Ok, mysql does die. I am stuck, I tried all kinds of settings, but
mysqld dies all the time. in slimserver.log you see how often it
happens
I am stuck here, maybe I try installing mysql 4.1 :(
