[slim] Squeezebox Classic - not dead

My SB3 had stopped working completely and I was thinking of binning it, but the red ethernet light was glowing. After reading other posts I bought a new power plug and it now works. SB3 is now fine. A good tip from the forum.

[slim] Squeezebox Controller vs ipod touch

I've read that the ipod touch can control squeezebox. Currently I have Squeezebox Classic and am thinking of the Squeezebox Controller. But the ipod touch is a similar price and does more, so why would I buy the Squeezebox Controller. Does the ipod give the same functionality ? -- mikeswingler

Left it for a couple of days and it has suddenly appeared and seems to be working !! It appears in the Internet radio list below SHOUTCast. Seem to be able to select it only from SB remote, have to use computer SC7 to navigate. Is this the way it works? Mike -- mikeswingler

James I just downloaded again from Siduhe's link and got _v1. That link didn't work this afternoon, so I got _v1.1.4 and installed that. Would this have made any difference ? Should I try _v1 ? Mike -- mikeswingler
