I had the same problem after uninstalling AVG and replacing it with
MSE.
THANKS to those who solved what the problem was.

I'm sitting here listening to my SB and I thought it might be time to
the thank the Slimserver staff and developers of the SC software for
continually improving the software and implementation of changes.
Also many THANKS to the support staff and contributors here on the

Music is FLAC stored on ReadyNAS NV+ with the most current firmware
release.
I really like SC7 and I'd prefer not to go back to 6.5.4 assuming this
can't be solved.
Thanks.

the
rebuffering issue. It's still wired so the wireless signal strength
isn't an issue.
I'll unplug and re-plug the SB3 and see what happens.
I never had to do that before but it won't hurt anything.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Well, that didn't work as it put the ARTIST last in ARTIST sequence.
Is that an ALBUMSORT field within the tag?
Seems that's what I need.

at the end of the ARTIST.
i.e.
ARTIST 1
ALBUM 1 (begins with A)
ALBUM 2 (begins with B)
ALBUM 3 (begins with A but is a field recording)
Hopefully that's clear.

kdf, any idea how to force a scan on a network drive?

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding how to use CLI.
I'm running Win XP SP2. Don't I simply go to a C: prompt through
Accessories to get there and enter the string?

Logfile emailed.
Oddly I noticed this:
on the SS Home page:
Your music library contains 835 albums with 13149 songs by 1608
artists.
On the ALBUMS page:
835 albums with 13148 songs by 1608 artists.
Not the same number of songs.
Thanks again,

Is there a main db that SS creates when it scans? Maybe that became

Does anyone know what causes that BACKTRACE error to be invoked?

I have no playlists and when I clear the library and rescan everything
I keep the Playlist Folder blank so (even by error) I'm not looking for

As a test I created a small folder on the NAS, moved a few files there,
and it scanned w/o issue.
Thanks for the tips.
