Denmark yet. I use a work-around to get spotify to work (note: this is
NOT illegal acording to Danish law). Please help me, I want to try it?

Google have enlightend me. QoS is used to priorities wireless trafic. I
am on cable and I experience buffering when change from one folder of
24bit/96KHz musik to another. There is no buffering when changing from
one file to another in the same folder. Is that a known bug?

I also considered to get a giga-switch so that the trafic over my
router wouldn't be slowed down but the switch in the qnap isn't giga
either.

Would the conversion of flac to PCM in my nas be a noticeable difference
i sound quality compared to having the Touch doing the encoding?

I do not think that the 655 is your problem
But my qnap is still a tottle neck so that the switch solution may
prove to be a waste of money.

I have read that the Quality of service (QoS)function my router DIR655
supports could stabilies the high rez streaming to my Touch. Thus I may
be able to avoid buffering when changing streaming from one folder to
another. Does anyone have expiernce in setting up the roles?

I have read that the jpg files most be named etiher cover.jpg or
folder.jpg to work. How do I name the files when having more than one
(eg both a front cover and a back cover file)?

These files are not used by SqueezeCenter but I can use them for other
purposes. I then create one file from the front cover called folder.jpg
which I resize to a suitable size (I've chosen 400x400px).

music server via LAN. Does anyone knwe whether the Asus can be handled
with WoL and how about extern hdd? Are they capable of this function? I

XP and if this doesn't work switch to Linux. But bottom line the Asus

Maybe I should have explained my setup. I plan to use the Asus eee Box
with the Squeececenter installed and with my music collection on a USB
ext hdd connected by wire to the Asus eee Box! Thus I hope I won't run
into the problems with having to access the music wireless on a NAS!?

I have just performed a rescan of my music-folders with no problem at
all but when I try to rescan the playlist (which have work in the
earlier versions) the scan seems to last forever1 Anyone experiencing

Somewhere in this thread it is written that the DAC in receiver handles
high-rez. Is it the not possible to use digital out from the receiver
to deliver the signal to an extern DAC which is compatible with
24bit/96KHz, and thus be able to play high-rez with this setup
