? I tried calling support (usually can figure out myself,
but am stumped). No love. They said the network hard drive is
unsupported.
Thanks!

I've been anxiously checking the Buy Now! page, waiting for the
controller to be available separately. I've been searching, but can't
seem to find an updated ETA. I know the orders for the Duet need to be
filled, but does anyone know when we'll be able to order just a
controller?

Any other ideas?
I do think this is different than the Debian issue Seerdekans is
talking about, as I'm not running debian (thanks for the help though,
Seerdekans!)

Smart gain will equalize volume in tracks played in a random mix or
playlist, just like regular replay gain. The bonus comes when playing
an album: it maintains dynamic differences between songs within an
album.

Does that work?
That seems to have fixed it for me. Seems a lot of folks are having
this trouble- lots of threads on it.

I am also getting this error: can not connect to retrieve playlist
when I'm trying to play a favorite internet radio station. Any ideas?
I did upgrade my Security package to Norton 360, but have the firewall
set to allow all for Slimserver.

When trying to play any internet radio station saved as a favorite, I
get the above mentioned error.
I've been searching like crazy, and can't seem to find the answer.
I can play anything else from my library with no problem.
Can anybody help?

If anyone has any suggestions for streaming to the Treo I'd appreciate

Something occured to me today. Most of us take great care to set up EAC
properly, use Accurate Rip etc, to make sure we get perfect rips. What
happens when you transfer FLACs from one drive to another? Is there
any assurance that errors are not introduced?

it in to the wall, plugged in the ethernet cables,
and it worked. No set up whatsoever (YMMV)and it has not flaked out
once in 2 years. I strongly recommend this!

This is the first I've heard of LastFM. I assume from the discussion
here that you can stream LastFM over the SB, like you can with Pandora?
From the posts here, sounds very much worth checking out.
