I brought the units with me from the UK to Philippines when I emigrated
three years ago. I am not aware of any marketing/sales/service activity
for the Squeeze devices in the Philippines.

my only problem is not knowing how to perfarm a Xylinx reset on an

anything!

the better spec'ed dac here in Philipines, I may well change
that too.
If all goes well, I can then apply the same mods to my other SB3.

Having given up waiting, I installed from the .tar. This has resulted
in an installation where the version is reported as 7.2 - 23630. The
web interface is still telling me that a new release is available.

Has anyone running Ubuntu been able to fetch version 7.2.1 as the stable
release?
I keep trying and am always told that 'squeezecenter is already the
newest version'.
Who is able to fetch it and who cannot?

There appears to be a problem with the 7.2 release which is causing
problems for some plugins - WeatherTime, for one. It has been stated
that the problems did not exist with the last nightly immediately prior
to the formal release. Can someone investigate this, please?

Could this be an instance of the SB3 MAC address becoming corrupted? If
you've secured your wireless network by allowing only trusted MAC
addresses, and the MAC address changes, you would get a failure to
connect.

does.

, it was, indeed, good to see representation
from SlimDevices and Progressive at the show - Jez and Paul.
... and playing with that 'knob' was an interesting experience!

Much the same here - Wireless signal strength runs at around 90%,
network test shows 99+% at 4000, yet I get spells of stuttering. :(

analogue amplification is also lossy, the question is always whether
or not it's audible. the flac replaygain synthesis code does
dithering
with noise shaping
to be carried out
in the analogue domain, then it would probably not be detrimental to
the sound.

Yep, I've also been aware of the confusion between IP and number of
players. I can't swear to it, but I think it was there in 6.3.1 also
(I'm not going back just to check!).

Ah, no extra wiring. I just unplugged and unbolted the OEM CD changer,

No replies to this, so I guess I'm the only person to experience it?
After some experimentation, I think that this may only occur after
using fast forward/backward (ie press hold the forward/reverse skip
button).

I presume that those of us running SlimServer on a QNAP can't just
install this new version, but have to wait on Progressive to do the
necessary?
