Check out bug 4544. SD is now able to reproduce this problem and I think that they are going to try to fix it in 6.5.2. Meanwhile, you can go back to 6.3.1 and get rid of the problem. -- randybrand randybrand's Profile

was directly related to whenever the microwave was turned on. You might be having similar interference from yours or a neighbors environment, new radio equipment (cordless phone, etc.). I am getting ready to move the router again. -- randybrand

is OK. I am running 6.3.1 to get rid of the problem associated with end of song cut-off. Does anyone know whether channel changes might help this, or should I move the router closer to the SB3? -- randybrand randybrand's

I could bum a router from work and try that I suppose. I am thinking that it might be something else because I set the slimserver display to show the buffer size and it pegs at 100% when cutting out. Does the wireless network have anything to do with the slimserver buffer? -- randybrand

that is creating the dropouts? I could get a less expensive G router and plug directly into the cpu and dedicate that network for slimserver only, thereby getting rid of the wireless leg between the cpu and the router... -- randybrand

My song library and slimserver are on the same CPU running XPSP2. However the song library is on a different physical drive than Slimserver and iTunes. Could this be why song ends are cut only on 6.5.1? -- randybrand

[slim] End of song is cut off

I am using 6.5.1 and getting the end of songs cut off. My music is ripped with apple lossless from cd's and managed with iTunes. Crossfade is off and iTunes gapless check box is off. Can anyone help? -- randybrand

I recently upgraded to the 6.5.1 nightly and noticed that the gap between songs is gone. I must now either run songs into each other or any sort of fade. Can I get the normal gap back without fade? -- randybrand
