SqueezeCenter 7.xa. I also read something about possible
conflicts between old slimserver paths and new squeezecenter paths that
might be fixed by nuking everything and installing from scratch.
thanks!

have this problem in the past, but that was with a different
wireless router and a different version of SlimServer.
I have a SqueezeBox3 and I'm running SlimServer 6.2.2, firmware version
35 ( I think ) on Mac OS X 10.4.5.
Thanks!

that it is
running on?
If not, where do you set the IP address for the SlimServer?
What I've tried is setting static IPs for the SqueezeBox and my
computer, but if there is a place to change the server's IP, then I
know why I've just been spinning my wheels for over a week! :)
thanks

yeah... it works fine when security is off. It just doesn't work when
WPA is enabled. It does work with WEP and MAC address filtering too,
but that's not so good.
thanks again!

, it pauses, then goes through
connecting to my router bit again, then gives me an error that in
cannot find the SlimServer. The same is true for SqueezeNet.
If no password is used, or if I use WEP, everything works fine.

I do not have MAC filtering enabled.
As for SqueezeNet vs. SlimServer, the results are the same. Without
password protection I can access either. With password protection (WPA)
I can access neither.

I got it to work!
I think the answer was using WPA instead of WPA2. I can't be sure about
the IP address issue, but it's possible that the slimserver wasn't
running at the time I recorded the steps. My bad!
Anyway, thanks again for your help!

things about static vs. dynamic ip addressing, but the
results are both failures with security on.
I like the idea behind the squeezebox, but so far, connecting it has
been a major pain.
Any ideas?
thanks much!
