I remember similar problems with the same Thomson router. I sorted it by lowering the security settings getting a connection and then increasing them again. I've since changed the router to a Netgear as a result of changing to fibre and didn't have any such problems. -- spile

If I was in your position I'd use something like Nero BackITup4 Essentials which comes free with Verbatim drives. I paid £123 for a 2Tb one. You might want to consider a Windows Home Server which will host your music, make backing up of ALL your stations and do a lot more besides. -- spile

Well I have decided to change my strategy and put the inserts back in the cases on the basis that I will hardly ever read them and they'll just collect dust. I'm glad I made the decision when I got to D and not Y or Z! -- spile
