GUI appear within the console and one of the options is to update the
product (if any are available).At no time does it appear under the

. Reinstall of the 24962 version was then performed.
Is it possible for an update of SC for WHS to remove details of a
previous installation from the installed addins tab please? Or is it
intended that I uninstall via the console tab prior to updating?

Will it install over the .exe version or is that not a good idea? Do you
still need remote access to set the start up options and run SC as a
service?

Thanks for all the replies, it installed over the previous version
without any issues. I too would like to see a SC service stop, restart
function available either via the browser GUI or via the WHS console

Find server preferences file i.e
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\SqueezeCenter\prefs\server.prefs
Edit with notepad,find httpport 9000, change port no.to whatever you
wish then save
Then no conflict with Twonky exists.
