Apologies if this has been covered already, but hopefully it might save someone the few hours it had me scratching my head!
Running net-UDAP through both activeperl and the udap_shell_1_0_0.exe on Windows 7, with the SBR wired (tried router and direct to PC) gave the same problem: - discovery worked fine, showed the SBR - conf selected it - list then showed hostname: and that was it - no other details - I entered all the set commands in all different permutations, but after save_data nothing was saved I then ran udap_shell.pl on unix and it worked straight away! No idea what it was about Windows, but the behaviour was most puzzling because no error was thrown, just no config was set.
