ps/update: i did some more experimenting yesterday and found that
behavior was not easily reproduceable. as a matter of fact, i only
managed to break synch one more time

what is causing my problem...
i recently migrated to a qnap turbonas 409. it is running SSOTS 3.15
(latest), SC 7.2 (latest) and my SB3s are running FW
I'm pretty sure syncing is not supported for transcoded tracks like
ACC.
This may well be different once the New Streaming code has been full
integrated and polished up for 7.3.
