Classic now wired ... seems a tad faster ... and not pauses as yet!

If it is practical to go wired, do so. Wired always beats WiFi in all
regards (except at, y'know, being wireless).
Plus, you'll get more free bandwidth for your other WiFi devices.

With the voodoo of WiFi, who knows. Could have been a rare fluke or it
might be a symptom of pending catastrophic failure (I'm being overly
dramatic). :)
Point is, if a simple device reboot solved the rare instance of this
problem I wouldn't be too concerned.
A periodic reboot of such devices,
I noticed on Friday night that my SB Classic in my living room started
stopping when playing back FLAC files. At the time it was synced to
the Boom in the kthcen, which I could hear carrying on in the
background. Once this had started happening it refused to play
anything- allowing 20s of music
