I'm in for a controller if anyone wants the SBR portion of a Duet. PM
me and we can split the net cost savings.

I worked out something with another member here (I wanted the receiver
and he wanted the controller) and it worked out great, not to mention
we saved some bones.

Thought that it may be worthwhile to revisit this thread.
Are we likely to see receivers available soon? I've just ordered two
sets of audioengine speakers and will have no duet receivers to hook
them up to!
It makes me sad :( Please Slim Devices, take my money!

The product launch announcement, back in January, indicated that you
could do this. I understand a short delay while they fulfill orders for
complete Duets, but it's been a while now.

I have an SBR which is surplus to requirements. In London, UK.
PM me if this would help anyone out.

Any update as to when we'll be able to place orders for SBCs and SBRs as
separate products? And SBC charging cradles?

Second that - I bought a Duet immediately, but am getting annoyed by
the lack of a committed date for SBR purchases.

2 things to note for now:
There is no official tool to setup an SBR without the controller. (the
NET-UDAP tool which is alpha stage does work wery well buts it's not
production ready methinks ).
There is not possible to switch the SBR towards SqueezeNetwork without
the Controller.
That doesn't help those who have a controller and want to expand the
network. I am thinking about buying the whole package again and
selling the extra remote and cradle on Ebay.

If they start to sell them separate now they have to communicate such
issues.
