headphone splitter to the three male plugs or use the left and right
outputs?

yes they are self powered - they are creative labs 5.1s, the sort you
get with a home desktop computer package.

I think you can only use the Coax digital out on the Squeezebox to your
Creative Labs speakers, see if that does the trick

I have some creative 5.1 speakers (I know that I won't get 5.1 sound
from the squeezebox) that I wish to use with my squeezebox. I only
have three male connectors for my speakers, what's the best way to
connect them? I get a buzzing sound when connected to the L and R
