I generally update pCP and LMS from the piCorePlayer web interface.
Main tab for pCP updates and LMS tab for LMS updates.

How does one update LMS to 8.3.0 from 8.0.0?
In other words, how does one run the following command to execute the
installer
sudo lms-update.sh -r
For the past how many weeks (several) I have been looking at a line of
text at the bottom of my LMS saying that I can update my LMS
