Yep, you were right, apparently I misunderstood this option, I thought
"no" meant to not mix the genre, whereas it actually means "do not
limit mix to genre".

Try changing the 'Mix Genre' stting to "No" and that should get you
sorted I think.

I have now managed to update all songs with MIP information and
according to the headless interface, only ~20 of 14.000 are
non-mixable.
However, when I try to start a MusicIP mix from a given songs, most of
the time, it only shows a playlist of two to three songs, even with
well-known artists/so
