I recommend Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me with a caveat. It's kind of a quiz show based on current events and much of it is US centric news, so I'm not sure if someone outside the States would find it as amusing. I subscribe to the podcast using the Mediafly app, just checked and you can also get it

Hi, I have recently started listening to NPR 24 news stream and am wondering if some kind North Americans could suggest NPR streams or programmes that are interesting for a BBC Radio 4 listener... Likewise I am struggling to find my way round the CBC streams but suspect I am missing
