I have found that the plug doesn't easily go all the way in without a little bit of effort. It seems to be in but as you experience it can easily drop out. It takes a bit of push to click it all the way home. -- Zaragon

Hi all. Just moved all my music and stuff to a new PC (Vista Home Premium), also installed MediaCenter 12 and MC2Slim. Now the problem is that SlimServer says it can't find my Squeezebox. I sort of thought it would appear automatically on the player, but it obviously doesn't, so I must have

What antivirus do you have installed on the Vista Machine? If you have the installation disks, you may want to try uninstalling the antivirus and see if you are able to connect then. Keep in mind the uninstall is just a test to help troubleshoot where the exact problem is coming from. --

Did you change the IP address on your new PC? If it gets it's IP address from a DHCP server then this is likely. I think from memory the SB looks for the same IP address as it last used. Try going through the setup again to see if it sees the server. Press and hold left arrow to get back to the
