I am using the default Web policy. Out of the box it doesn't have all
rules enabled. I was tshooting something else and turned off the ones
that were turned on, and when done, I turned ALL of them back

Just test BBC Streaming Radio and it's working fine.

Can you give an example ? My UTM 9.6 seems to allow
Boom was able to register, and BBC was able to stream when I whitelisted
these urls in the firewall's webfilter. Sophos decided to block them in
the last few days. I'm not sure if all of these needed to be added or
not but here they

My mistake. My Sophos XG firewall decided out of the blue that the
streams are undesirable. Same with mysqueezebox.com. When I deactivated
the web filter, it all worked again. I'll turn it back on and whitelist
them.
BBC MP3 URLs should still work for thos who use mysqueezebox.com
They still work OK for my through BBC app on my LMS (whic is fed from
mysqueezebox.com)
I think you had a network glitch and it will be ok after caches expire.
If you have a local LMS - the BBCiPlayer plugin has a fuller choice
