Yes, that's consistent with what I'm seeing - the stream is deactivated
but the LED remains on.

Sorry, I didn't FULLY read the original post. I use S/PDIF coax out
which DOES turn off. However, I do use the optical out of my
Transporter and am pretty sure the digital 'stream' turns off even
though the LED may remain on.
I'll double check that for you.

Do you mean the red LED will actually turn off?

I've got two SB3s and a Transporter and none of them have this problem.
If I tell it to go OFF, it does... tell it to stay ON, it does.
Do any other settings NOT work? Have you tried cycling the setting
ON/OFF?

Mike,
There already is an enhancement request about this in Bugzilla and it
is being investigated. I suggest you go to
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1397 and vote for the bug
if you have not done so already.

Hi,
I know this has been asked before. I have selected the option under
audio to disable outputs when off, yet the optical stays on when I turn
the device off. For my switch to recognize my other devices, I have to
unplug my sb3. Is there a way around this?
Thanks,
Mike
