I've never heard ads on my free account, either. As for skipping songs, I just change "stations" and come back instead of skipping and never have a problem. My only complaint about Pandora is the lack of depth of their catalog. I usually only hear songs off of one album for any one artist, wi

I agree that there's no real reason to pay for a Pandora account. If I could pay extra to get unlimited skips, I'd do that, but that's not an option. I suspect that Pandora and other music services will start adding more ads to free accounts over time though. -- Fletch ---

I have had a free Pandora account for quite some time and just yesterday started playing it via my Squeezebox Duet. Works like a charm. Puzzled though because I read that for $36/year you can get a non-advertising subscription. I don't hear any ads. Am I missing something, or not listening closely
