I am a hard wired kinda guy. I might be able to set it up wireless
working through SqueezeConfig but I prefer hardwire.

Has anyone gotten squeezeconfig app to see a squeezebox classic?
Have tried everything, and can't fathom what I am doing wrong.

Some of the comments from Flatterman's post I didn't think you were
resetting your SB3 every day:p
Just an idea, if you have a different power supply you might try that
to reset the SB3.

Maybe this whole issue has something to do with the crazy snowstorm here
today...heck if I know.
Have never been prompted to manually go through the setup process in all
the years I've owned these devices.
Tried squeezeconfig on a Galaxy Note 3 and the player wired into
router...tried the reset
You might have had better luck (less work) resetting or reconfiguring
the wifi access point/router. I'd suggest you backup its configuration
if possible once you have things stable again. Then you'd just need to
reload the backup configuration if this happens again.

System has been stable for the last several months...something happened
with the network today, and several of my devices lost connectivity.
Have no had any luck with
well I was wrong you do need to plug it in while holding the + button.
First, some clarifications:
Your SB3 is connected via LAN (wired) to a wireless bridge.
The bridge is a separate device, i.e. you do not use the bridge feature
of the SB3, right?
SqueezeConfig will never change the
Hi Benefactor
I have SqueezConfig installed on an old tablet & the last time I tried
it, it found the Duet but never was able to activate it. If you try UDAP
the only time I was able to get it to work was by connecting the laptop
directly to the Duet. Connecting directly to the router should do
Thanks for trying to help me out Tex...much appreciated.
I have the squeezebox hardwired to my router, and have attempted the
reset a few times (holding down "+" key while plugging in the unit), but
cannot get squeezeconfig to see the unit.

SourceForge is having problems. Can you post the download somewhere else
until they straighten things out?

You can put the SB3 into an initial state by the remote control and
then reactive it with SqueezeConfig or UDAP, just like the Duet.
(1) Pi 3 w/ HifiBerry Dac + Pro & Max2Play,
I mean, eight years of pretty much daily use is a good ride...and I have
a few "spare" units set aside for this type of situation, but still sad
to see him go.
Especially since I know the unit works just fine with the exception of
the display.

It has always been a simple reboot to reconnect.
Today I was prompted to do the setup again
Did you have to change the access point? Not sure why the devices
wouldn't simply require at most a reboot to get back on the same WiFi
with the same password on the same Mac.

Something happened today with my wireless network.
Most of my wireless devices (including 3 of my squeezeboxes) lost
connectivity for some reason during the afternoon.
With the squeezeboxes, I had to go through the setup process to connect
again (choosing network, etc.).
Problem is, one of my
