[slim] Problems with optical output

Got a duet today, tried the optical out into my Onkyo amp, just sounded crackly and very very faint sound could be heard. I then tried my SB3 via optical, which I hadn't before and it was the same. Does this sound like a faulty cable? -- markwm

It's not an A/V amp, it's an cr515-DAB like this: http://www.eu.onkyo.com/products/product_en_2008_5875420.html It has both optical and coaxial digital INPUTS. -- markwm markwm's Profile:
