Running?
Mine has it as type Manual, and does not show it as running.
However, slim.exe *is* running in
It's in the Services page, shown as running, and shown as Automatic.

I should add that it will look the same in the list of processes
running - shown as 'slim.exe' - except that when running as a service
the user name displayed will be SYSTEM, while when
