At the moment we are waiting to move house in about 2 weeks time so i
think i will hold off on any experimenting until i have it all set up
in the new house and see if the problem is apparent there.

I would keep trying a different channel every few days or so. I also own
a Slim 1 and was plauged by the same problem until I hit upon a channel
that worked. The most likley cause of the interferance was my neigbors
cordless telephone as it operates in the same range as my router

helped me at all i am still getting random dropouts, usually at least
one or two an hour, i have infact just had 2 in the last 5 minutes.
I thought it was maybe due to some of my files being AAC encoded and
some being MP3 thou

channel 13 will help me out.

I also have an SB1, and when I first got it I encountered exactly the
same problems as you (e.g. the intermittent "reboot" of SB).
Even though my wireless signal strength was very high, like yours, I
still put the problem down to interference. Indeed, trying different
wireless channels affected
