Still a happy Squeezebox Radio (alarm clock) user. Up until now the back
alarm has sounded once (presume the stream was unavailable, or my local
wifi was busy) but at least it woke me up.
Call me old, but please note that I use the radio 100% stand alone, and

Dang, I shouldn't have said anything! This morning, for the first time
in the year and some I've had it, the Boom alarm didn't go off. I was

Alarm function:
Outside the UK you can listen to the same content as on SB Radio as BBC
iPlayer. So just like Iplayer, you can listen to all BBC streams
except Radio 3HD and those program which are not licensed outside the
UK such as BBC 5Live sports events - cricket etc.

Well I took the plunge. Online web booking and then cycled to the
nearest webshop which is 10 minutes away (some things are well
organized in the Netherlands!)
Bought a Squeezebox Radio. Re-flashed it with the latest software and I
was up and running within 5 minutes.
