Hi,
I live in the UK and yet the server for my squeezbox's states I am in
Germany - this means I cannot listen to live sport broadcast from the
BBC as they will only allow UK listeners...which I am...but I suppose
they think I am in Germany.
Is there anyway to get around this?

Run a local Squeezebox Server with iPlayer plug-in.
IIRC the German mysqueezebox.com serves the EU

Thanks for the answer - could you expand on what you mean though?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/wm_asx/aod/radio4.asx#slim:noscan=1 does
not work on the SB radio...there is an error
The URL you used is a playlist containing many actual streaming URL.
You need to open the AASX URL and use one of the playabale URL. I
cannot give youone as I am out side the UK and get the non UK URLs.
The content of the ASX playlist for a non UKuser looks like
