Little confused about all of the options for a software player - is
there any resources/threads that compare and contrast all of these? Is
SqueezeSlave kind of a new spinoff of SoftSqueeze? SqueezePlay pretty
much newer/better?
I'd like to run this on a Win7 box if that makes any difference...
I don't know if there's a single location where you can contrast these
three software players (maybe somewhere on the wiki).
Here's my take:
Softsqueeze is a squeezebox player emulator. It provides a GUI which
mimics the look of the squeezebox, with skins to emulate SB3/Classic,
Transporter.
I am using
Squeezecenter Version: 7.3.3 - 26709 @ Fri May 22 03:09:01 PDT 2009
with a SB3 and a Boom.
If I want to add Softsqueeze or Squeezeplay to the study PC which is
the best and most stable option at the moment?
