Bump
So I can now connect successfully to the squeezenetwork and stream
internet radio with the homeplugs hooked up.
However I still can't seem to connect and use my library.
It now assigns an ip address automatically when I attempt the process
go through the rest of it then the squeezebox
Checked your MacOS firewall settings (System preferences Security
Firewall under Leopard) ?

Long post so bear with me please.
Ok I have got the following :-
In one room I have
a)mac mini bought for media duties (dvd rips, slimserver duties for
squeezebox 3) and will be hooked up to a tv via a svideo adaptor (hey
some of us havent upgraded yet!), its also got squeezecentre 7
The simplist way to do this is:
Connect the router DG834 to the internet, from memory that's an ADSL
router so just plug the line into it's internet port. Make sure it is
configured for your internet service.
Connect the homeplug, and second Mac to it's ethernet ports.
Get hold of a 100Mbs
