After having spent quite some time on this issue, it has just magically been fixed. Resetting one more time the receiver did the trick after deleting the database on the PC side. Everything seems to work fine now ! I'm not sure I can believe it myself :) -- linxeye

What format are your files ? Are your players set to play normal or did you have custom settings ? One user reported that he thought 7.1 update removed all custom settings from server directory (e.g. custom-types.conf) and also delete non standard binbaries from Bin directory. -- bpa

Files I play with Squeezebox Duet are for the most part (like 95%) MP3. Players are set to normal playback, no custom settings. I'm still fairly novice when it comes to SqueezeBox so I'm just using regular settings (not added any plugins yet !). -- linxeye
