Controller? from a person that apparently bought one of these on sale
Duets from Amazon. Sounds like it may be a demo or beta unit that can't
be updated to current software. I'll find out next week if I'm in the

My two booms and duet came in and the duet controller updated to the
latest version firmware for me just fine. I still don't have a second
sound system yet to hook the receiver up to, but plan on getting one
for my birthday in April.

Finally got an email from Amazon today and it looks like they found the
booms to fulfill my order. All three (boom x 2 and duet x 1) will be
here Wednesday. I was getting a little worried they'd sold too many
and wouldn't be able to fulfill my order.

That's a heck of a price as the CONTROLLER alone is typically more
expensive that this!

Thanks for the tip! I jumped right on this and snagged a 2nd Duet for
the basement stereo. This price is UNBELIEVABLE, makes me think it's
being discontinued??

I too snagged a Duet in addition to the two booms. The Duet is already
shipped but no estimated ship date on the booms.
If they are being discontinued that's probably a good indicator that
new models are around the corner.
