After adding some 'old' music files that I had ripped some time ago
(FLAS and mp3), I started a scan for new files, but the files do not
show up after the scan.
The new files have dates that are before my last scan.
How does the new-files scan work - do I need to touch the files, to
update their
I'm not sure how the scan for new and changed files works, but your
explanation sounds reasonable.
Be careful with touching the files.
If they have new timestamps they also show up right at the top in the
new music view.
A complete rescan might be the best solution.
